Thank you for showing us the bridge. I drive under it 3 days a week and I have always wondered what was in the surrounding area as soon as you cross it into Orange Blossom. Alex and I had dinner at the Country Club last month. They have a great special 2 dinners for $30. We thought it was a good deal. I enjoyed the video. Personally I love the Spanish Springs area. I love the maturity of the trees in the area and the convenient stores. Linda, the driveways are probably more of a Florida thing than just a Villages thing. We don't live in the Villages and we have pavers for our driveway. Just gives the house a more formal feel. Loved the video. Jerry, hope you sister finds a place she likes and decides to join y'all in the Villages. .

When it comes to hobbies I’m into machine embroidery and sewing. I have framed several machine embroidered pictures and I will send you one after you come back from your cruise. Great show! You mentioned that you're not sure of the weather for your Alaska trip. On the iPhone, I have an app called "Weather" that allows you to set it for cities almost anywhere in the world. For the current day, it gives info for every hour of the day, temp, cloud, sunny, rain, wind, etc. It even has a limited radar view of the weather at each location. It also has a less detailed view with a 10-day forecast for every location you set. For travel, I also use "Radarscope". More comprehensive radar views. It costs $10 (I believe, it's been a long time since I purchased it) and is extremely useful for where you live. When we travel by car, we can look ahead and see if we're headed into a storm, etc. Knowing what's ahead weatherwise can be extremely useful. I imagine there are Android versions for something similar. Growing up in Illinois (Tornado Alley) and now living in Texas, I like knowing what's coming even when away from media coverage. :)

Why don’t you systematically review all the country club restaurants? They all have their special days and features… 20% and sometimes extra we see it as charity that goes directly to individuals

Perks? We did a lifestyle visit and the only perks we got was a free round of pitch and putt.

Thank you for the drive to the Historic side. I will be renting a home on the Historic side in July...call it my 2nd test drive to see how I like the Historic side. It's getting close to the time when I have to decide where I want to spend my post retirement years. The Villages is still #1 on my list.

Hi Jerry and Linda. How fun to watch this video even if it's not live! I like to listen to the thunderstorms, but our roof was damaged badly in a hailstorm in 2021. Had to have it replaced. So it does happen in this area. Have you tried Rodello's yet? I sent you a short video question last week, that may not be relevant, but I learned how to condense it to send so that was good. Enjoy your Alaska cruise and I'm sure you'll produce some great content. Thanks.

I always tip at the start of a vacation, so I get great service during the vacation. I think this is tactically wiser than tipping afterwards. Most employees work harder if they get the money beforehand. If they were good, they get something again at the end. It is generally important to always give a generous tip, otherwise it can look petty. I always round up generously. Then they will try to give you the best table and service next time and so on. My experience.

The subscribers receive the email far too late. I got them at the end of the show, and last time even after the show. So much for gmail.

Unfortunately I have to work another ten years. My husband retired years ago, he will enjoy the Villages more than me, but my work is like a paid hobby, so it’s not that big of a deal.

Tipping is not usual in most countries. I get very confused when visiting USA. If I go on a ship tour some people tip the guide who has been paid by the shipping company that sets the price. If I hire a private guide they set the price but I feel obliged to pay more. In some countries it is considered insulting to tip, Japan and China for example. Google gives some indication. I feel I have to carry a lot of cash.
